Hibachi Lunch Special
When it comes to Hibachi in Tyler, there are two ways to do it. At Ohayo we start with only the best and freshest ingredients in all of our Hibachi lunch dishes. Our vegetables are fresh cut produce and never frozen or dehydrated. The broccoli, carrots, onions, and Italian squash are sliced and prepared daily. Our plump chicken breast isn't precut in bags getting freezer burn. As with nearly everything else in our restaurant, we don't cook it until you order it so that you get the best and freshest flavor possible. Our beef isn't just the cheapest cut of cow that was pre sliced in a factory hundreds of miles away and flash frozen before being shipped to our restaurant and cooked in added water to make a fake weight. We bring in whole New York Lions and trim them ourselves by a talented staff who knows every thick cut is a steak in and of itself. No you don't sit in front of our flat iron hibachi grill where you are charged for a show, but at least with our Hibachi in Tyler, you can feed a family of four for less than a car payment.

The Traditional Sushi roll that most people in Tyler and everywhere else most likely began their journey with. Surimi also known as Kani or Krab is an imitation crab meat that pairs perfectly with freshly sliced avocado and crisp cucumber. The inside out roll has the nori seaweed sheet on the inside and is enveloped with fresh made sushi rice.
Boston Sushi Roll
The Boston Sushi Roll is often something overlooked by people outside of bean town. It's a shame too because tender perfect shrimp meat and refreshing cucumber pair amazingly with crisp fresh lettuce. Wrapped in Nori and sushi rice this roll defies the odds on how much of a tasty sushi roll it actually is. Especially for people who may be newer to sushi and want to ease into the raw fish scene.
Shrimp Tempura Sushi Roll
There is no surprise that this classic sushi roll is on nearly 50% of all of our lunch orders. Hand battered and freshly fried shrimp tempura that is coupled up with crispy ripe cucumber. Our daily house made sushi rice cradles the the shrimp and cucumber with everything wrapped tightly in a sheet of Nori. The finished sushi roll is then stopped with the perfect drizzle of Eel sauce.
Eel Sushi Roll
This simple and unassuming roll is a sleeper in every sense of the word. Smoked Unagi Eel itself is a depth of flavor and texture. Having upwards of ten percent fat, this eel is smoked, roasted, and seasoned so that the earthy flavor is proudly dominant in this roll. Offset with the perfect balance of cucumber, unagi sauce, sushi rice, and nori, it's a hard roll to match.
Veggie Sushi Roll
No, this is not a typo. As the Japanese word "Sushi" literally means "With Rice" Vegetable sushi is indeed a thing. In fact, you can make anything sushi. Ginger sushi, Wasabi sushi, probably not soup though. That said our veggie sushi is obviously a favorite for our customers who don't have meat as a part of their diet. Fresh blanched asparagus, avocado, and cucumber wrapped in the best sushi rice in Tyler and finished with a ribbon of Nori holding it together. It's enough to tempt anyone.
Alaskan Sushi Roll
One of our favorite stories is how our marketer took a cruise up to Alaska and jumped in a stream, catching multiple salmon with his bare hands in the near freezing water. We can't mention this roll without him bringing it up. Salmon and Avocado play so well with the crisp of cucumber. Wrapped inside out with the nori on the inside and the rice on the outside, this sushi roll doesn't need much to be special. We're just grateful we don't have to catch it by hand ourselves in order to enjoy it.

Did you know that Philadelphia cream cheese was actually invented in New York and not Philly.
